This past week Raul and I have met with the people of the City Hall of Premia de Mar. We have shown the work done during the last few weeks and they have been pleased with the entire development of the game.
At this meeting we have shown all levels of the game, the new jump animation and physics of the character and one of the bosses levels.
After analyzing all that we’ve shown they have decided that everything was correct and it was not necessary to make one more level where the final boss appeared, the pirate Omar. They decided this because they have found that the game was quite full with existing levels and because of this project is being done in collaboration with university students, they have asked us if we cared that the cinematics design and drawings did a Graph Illustrator. For our part we have not created any obstacle to this new proposal because in what we are really interested was the game. This designer will be responsible to do the cinematics and the final boss will be represented in one of this cinematics.
On the other hand they have also contacted another student to make the music. Obviously the initial project was commissioned us and that is why we have asked that we meet next week again with these new members to leave ended our involvement in this project and to shift our view to new members.
They told us that for now all we can do for this project is done. But they asked us for two different last things. For next week, they want:
- The game with continuity, all the phases of the game joined.
- The last story board we did, but adapted to the current levels of the game.
So we have a meeting next week in order to finish and show them this two last things they’ve asked us. After this, all our job in the project will be done!
After the next meeting I will have my Creative Futures project finished after doing part of the work for the UAB project, the Time Lapse for PRIMAROCA and the flash game for Premia de Mar.
